Meet the Team
*Ilyas Adam (BSc)* - Co-Founder/Director.
Ilyas, overlooks the operations and financial management of 1st Med. Ilyas has first hand experience of running a care home having previously owned a care home business in Lancashire. He is an accomplished ‘hands on’ manager and holds a BSc in Financial Management. Ilyas is also responsible for the operation and profitable growth of 1st Med.
Originally from Preston, Lancashire (what he calls the heart of Lancashire), in his spare time Ilyas enjoys meeting friends, playing cricket, and keeping on his toes for his young boy.
*Ayesha Rahim (TA, Premed)* - Co-Founder/Director.
An experienced healthcare recruiter, Ayesha is passionate about her work in health care recruitment. Ayesha is aware of the needs of both clients and temporary workers. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the business and meeting of all contractual obligations. Ayesha considers it an integral part of her role and a personal responsibility to keep abreast of changes in policy, theory and best practice.
Away from the office, Ayesha divides her time between shopping, socialising, cookery, travelling and ferrying around her two sports-mad twin boys and, finally, a bit more shopping...
*Emma Mcgregor* - Compliance Administrator.
Emma has previously worked as PA and in marketing and sales. Emma works to ensure total staff compliance to the very last detail.
She oversees annual checks which ensure that we maintain our place on the Crown Commercial Service framework and liaises with all staff to ensure that the company ethos is re-enforced and upheld.
*Fazila Kahnsaib.* - Recruitment Administrator
Fazila joins us as a Recruitment Administrator having honed her organisational skills as a PA, Office Manager and Creative Resource Manager.
Alongside her recruitment colleagues, Fazila ensures we get the best candidates, interviewing and obtaining references, DBS checks and training.
