The quality of our care services depends entirely on the quality of the nurses and carers we place with clients. At 1st MED we have a simple rule when it comes to recruitment: if we wouldn't be happy for a particular Nurse or Carer to look after us or a member of our family, then they are certainly not good enough for you.
Each nurse or care and support worker seeking to join 1st Med goes through at least 15 different checks that include a face to face interview, a DBS check, 2 written references from previous employers, PIN checks for nurses, work permit verification, evidence of recent training, as well as various competency assessments for the role for which they are applying.
1st MED places a lot of emphasis on compliance and allows all clients full access to full information for each worker via online. This way, our client's have peace of mind that the candidate placed by us is fully compliant with the required qualification and training for the role.
After successfully completing training, all candidates receive on-going supervision and we regularly ask for feedback. This allows us to monitor our service quality helping us assure the best service for you.
